Ground Based Aerial Surveys

Crest Surveys vehicles are equipped with the very latest technology in order to produce real time imagery or still digital photography, enabling our clients to instantly view images on site at ground level. We operate a telescopic mast mounted onto the roof of a 4WD vehicle, which has an operational range of heights from 2m – 26m (90ft).

Each vehicle is operated by one of our highly trained engineers who will offer their experience to achieve the customer’s final goal.

Our digital photography experts can enhance the captured image to maximise the desired effect if required.

Our survey vehicles are based on the VW Transporter 4 Motion allowing 4x4 capability when needed. Each vehicle can be arranged in club seating configuration which seats 4 people.  This allows a safe working environment for reviewing the survey as it is conducted.

The vehicle gives flexibility to survey locations where limited space and restricted access conditions apply. This allows minimum disruption on sensitive land locations.

We have fully remote controlled high-resolution cameras, including video cameras, which can be fitted to the top of the mast giving real time imagery recorded in the vehicle.

The camera is operated from ground level to manage all of its functions using an on-board PC with specialist remote software.
